Just like your computer hardware, your website and various plugins ( needed to ensure smooth user experience) need to be secure from vulnerabilities. To ensure that your site runs smoothly and your websote assets are protected for the long term, we offer scheduled updates, malware scans, file monitoring and patching for a monthly fee.

About the site

Other than new agents, every business that we take on already has a website. They sign up because they want to increase their enquiries from their website and want a team that can understand travel to help them.

Our supplier partnerships mean that non unique content ( tour operator content) is provided as part of the package, saving clients hours of time and money that in many cases, more than pays for the cost of the website

Yes you do – so you can pack it up and take it to another provider at any stage. However – any content that we centrally provide won’t be available – so it will just be your site design and any unique content you have added. If you do want to move your site we charge a £199 fee to wrap it in a ZIP file ready for your new hosting company to unwrap.

We centrally host all websites so we can manage the security. We host on Virtual Servers at Digital Ocean – a leading server company. 

Because most clients take bespoke travel software integrated into websites ( tour operator product / offers and cruise search) then we have to host these sites to maintain integrity and performance.

If however you would like to manage your own server we can set this up for an extra charge with management via ‘Cloudways’ Server Management Solution.

We believe in giving you lots of flexibility but launching and then working on a website is a long term solution. 

So we ask for an initial 12 month term and then a 3 month rolling contract kicks in. That way your only exposure over a longer term period is 3 months subscription.

If you do decide to move your site to a new hosting solution you may lose some of our centrally provided premium plugins and content.

We do often manage domains for clients including billing for annual charges. However, if you already own a domain then unless you want a full management solution then we will simply redirect the DNS records to our partner – Cloudflare, so we can manage the security of your site. This does mean that we have to update any records on the domain for you, but these updates are all included as part of your package.

Reclaiming your domain records should you ever wish to is easy and entirely in your control. You simply login to your domain manager ( where yuo bought the domain) and set the DNS server back to tge default.

 

Since 2018 Google has been basing it’s search results from mobile data. It has a ‘mobile first’ philosophy. So yes, every website that we build is optimised for different device sizes from tablets to phones.

Each site comes with various methods to gain new subscribers to nurture via email marketing. You can link to your software directly so that when someone signs up, they get added to your list straight away. The same applies to CRM’s ( including our own CRM) . Depending on the system you use, you may need a paid version of Zapier to integrate, but for most, it is free.

All sites come with Yoast SEO so you can manage your content. We ensure your main keywords are carried over to the new site and ensure that old site page listings are matched to new site pages if the URL has changed so you won’t lose rankings.

We use the Elementor Page Builder in every site and depending on your wordpress knowledge you can customise to your hearts content. 

For clients wishing build bespoke solutions e.g. honeymoon registry, bespoke itinerary pages etc. then we have a team of coding professionals whom can code your site with whatever you require.

Our Marketing Manager integration enables you to add your own packages / itineraries to your site.

We build using wordpress which is the definitive blogging platform – so yes, every site comes with a blog and SEO management.

Many smaller businesses often use one off designers ( one man bands) for creating a website. What they then find is that the designer gets another job / moves overseas and the client is left with a site they can’t access / update / manage.

One man bands are great for one off sales ( e.g. selling travel). But as the tech world gets more complicated, as cyber attacks get more frequent, and reliance on websites becomes more and more important, it’s important to be able to rely on a business with a track record.

We are a 12 man team of designers / programmers / account managers. We manage over 200 clients and are principal website provider for the UK’s largest Consortia. When we acquire a client, we rarely lose them again and lots have been with us since we started the business. Unlike a one man band – you have many points of contact with us.

About Pricing

Care plans have been developed to match the ‘type of business’ you have. Without boring you with lots of details the basic difference is with traffic to your site ( and how quickly it loads) to how secure your site is from hackers. While we can’t guarantee your site won’y have a problem – there are things we employ to stop these problems. 

But these come at a cost and so it is very much a business decision as to what you should choose. We would always recommend the TMS Care + package for peace of mind as you get free same day malware clean up, a daily updated firewall to stop brute force and other malicious attacks and we manage all updates on your behalf so that your site is always working in tip top condition.

The standard and TMS Care Plan packages are sufficient for very small / small sites – but if you do get hit with malware your site may be down for a day or so and the malware clean up costs £200.

All sites come with minor design tweaks / updates as part of your package so that your site always works perfectly. Most clients don’t end up spending any more than their monthly fees.

If you would like us ot manage content / update banners / images then we offer a managed service starting at £35 / hour or £200 / day ( for which we are much speedier than you migt be able to find with a staff member so often works out better value for money)

If you decide to do a branding overhaul / want to chnage the look and feel of the website, then we will charge for this and quote based on exactly what you want doing.

We increase prices by 3% or ‘inflation’ each year. We don’t change package descriptions but do sometimes change package costs. As a client your subscription charge is always ‘grandfathered’ so that you will only pay the cost you signed up to + annual inflation rises. If you decide to change your package to a newer one we provide – we offer a 20% discount to existing clients.

You would pay the site set up fee ( variable depending on what you require but average set up fees are around £500 – £600. You’ll then pay £89 / month + £10 standard hosting charge ( total £99 / month. Upgrading to Care Plan and Care Plan + will add £19 and £39 respectively to your monthly cost.

In addition we integrate tour operator product to enable you to build out pages with example product / landing pages for content / hotels / tours etc. across the world.

You would pay the site set up fee ( variable depending on what you require but average set up fees are around £2350  – £3000. You’ll then pay £180 / month + £10 standard hosting charge ( total £99 / month. Upgrading to Care Plan and Care Plan + will add £19 and £39 respectively to your monthly cost.

Your maximum monthly cost with Care + would be £230 / month + vat

You would pay the site set up fee ( variable depending on what you require but average set up fees are around £950 – £2000 . You’ll then pay £110 / month + £10 standard hosting charge ( total £120 / month. Upgrading to Care Plan and Care Plan + will add £19 and £39 respectively to your monthly cost.

If you require live cruise feeds ( via Widgety) you’ll need a Widgety account for this which is currently free until the end of 2021. 

Our prices are very competitive. Because of our size we are able to provide software at a cost much cheaper than you could buy directly yourself and so building a site like we provide would cost you more money doing this directly than coming to us.

 We focus on specialist Independent Agents and find that the cost of he annual website management costs is easily recouped in just 1 booking per month. If you compare that to the ROI on a physical store, the website wins every time.
